Beets are very efficient in reducing anemia due to is blood building capabilities. Beets also promote healthy skin and hair growth. You can actually use both the beet itself and the leafy green tops, the later holds more of the mineral content. But in this recipe we’ve used the raw beet only. The addition of cinnamon makes this smoothie very interesting and tasty. Try it!

1/3 cup (100 ml) water
1/3 cup (100 ml) raw beet (peeled)
2 tsp honey
1 tsp ground cinnamon
