Kiwi Basil Anti-inflammatory Smoothie

Basil has recently shown to reduce inflammation and swelling in people with arthritis and other inflammatory issues, according to Medical News Today. That’s why we have included it in one of our recipes along with the many benefits of olive oil and grapefruit. This green smoothie has a brave flavor with a prominent taste of basil. Refreshing and nourishing.

2 kiwis
12 fresh basil leafs
3 bananas
2 cups romaine salad (500 ml)
1 pink grapefruit (the juice)
1 cup water (250 ml)
2 tbsp honey (optional)

Start by blending the romaine salad with the water and grapefruit juice. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
