Strawberry Orange Ginger Smoothie

This is a light and refreshing fruit smoothie with a dash of ginger. It’s great for your immune system – full of vitamin C and the immune boosting properties of ginger. Strawberries are among the most nutritious berries you can eat and oranges has a lot of calcium. You might need to blend for a bit longer if you have a weeker blender since the whole orange is added, not just the juice. (But peeled of course). Start by adding the oranges and strawberries to the blender since they are watery fruits. Then add the rest. If you find that your blender has difficulties blending, add a little water or coconut water.

2 cups (500 ml) strawberries
2 oranges
2 medium bananas
1 inch ginger, peeled
