What can be more annoying than a urinary tract infection? The timing is always bad and it’s just irritating, isn’t it? And if it stays for longer it can be really challenging mentally as well. 

This smoothie is a mix of pineapple, cranberries and blueberries – all include powerful compounds to fight off those bacteria and boost your immune system. Make this smoothie (and those three fruits) your best friend. Have it for breakfast everyday if you wish. You can always add some protein to make it more filling. Just add a handful of raw almonds (preferably soaked over night) and blend it all together. Just remember not to add any sweetener since sugar is food for those bad bacteria!

INGREDIENTS

1 3/4 cup (400 ml) cranberries
2 cups (500 ml) pineapple
1 cup (250 ml) blueberries
1 banana
1/2 cup (125 ml) water
